The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed concerning the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company place designed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to help the servicing of all more info buyers and increase use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
